Last night Aunt Betty had a heart attack; she had a 5 by-pass surgery and as of 11 pm, she was OK. However, 2 of the blockages was 95%. Lewie had just gotten her to the hospital and she had the heart attack while in the ER room. On the operating table she suffered cardiac arrest TWICE and they had to use the defibrillator.
She is in ICU at Elkhart General Hospital. The doctor told us she will be very sick for the first 36 hours because of damage to her heart, but, she will come through this just fine.

Then:

Betty has had two more cardiac arrests since last night. Her heart is trying…but there was so much damage. The medical people don’t let the arrest last, they zap her right away. Pray hard that she can overcome this damage.
